mariic's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hello high speed! I know it has been forever. I have been fighting with my evil dial up connection. So I decided to ditch it and get high speed Internet. It was installed yesterday and I am in heaven. It is so fast. I also got digital TV, so I have a feeling that my couch will be seeing a lot more of me. I think I did the stupidest thing this weekend. I finally met this guy who I have seen around a lot and always had a crush on. He was hanging out at the pub on Friday, and we got to talking and it is really funny, because we seem to know all the same people. Well, I gave him a ride home and he asked me in, and I went. Idiot. Of course I did that which you are not supposed to do when you just meet a guy (no matter how awesome it was). And now I am sure I will never hear from him. You think some one on the verge of 30 would have figured this stuff out by now. Ugh. I am going on a road trip this weekend to see the old west. I am very excited about it. I am going to see Tombstone and Bisbee. It should be fun. I like road trips by myself. I am watching the Matchmaker. I love this movie.
