mariic's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Cali Dreaming... Wow, I just had a great weekend. Thursday night Heather and I went for wings, and decided to go get a drink. We had so much fun I completely lost track of time. I have a new crush. It is most inconvenient. I may try to ignore it. I have been in Cali since Friday night. We went to the Huntington Library on Saturday morning, and then the beach with Jody. I actually swam in the ocean. It was wonderful. A wave knocked me on my ass though and made me sprang my ankle, which made me pretty gimpy for the rest of the trip. Jody took me out to Harry O’s on Saturday night. We met her boyfriend T.C. and two of his friends. We had fun. I got to make out with one of the best looking black men I have ever met. He called Jody at 4:30 that morning wanting my number. Aren’t boys weird? Sunday we went to the Norton Simon Museum and then shopping in old town Pasadena. I got a great new black dress at this cool little boutique that hand makes all their clothes. I also got a new watch, because mine had perished in the ocean. We then went home and had a barbeque. Jody and T.C. came, and threatened to bring the cute boy. It would have been okay, but I really just enjoyed being with my family. Today we drove back, did some shopping at the Cabazon outlets and had lunch at Los Consuelas in Palm Springs. It was sad leaving, but good to come home, I missed my dog so much. Speaking of that, I am going to go snuggle her and call Heather. Good Night!
